Barcelona Goes To The Super Cup Final Against Real Madrid

SPANISH SUPER CUP – Barcelona wins in the second semi-final valid for the Spanish Super Cup. Xavi’s team has the better of Osasuna by 2-0 and on Sunday night in Riyadh will face Real Madrid, yesterday winning against Atletico, for the Clasico who is worth the Cup. Not an easy match for the blaugrana team, which still passes thanks to the goals of Lewandowski and Yamal in the second half.

Still Real-Barcelona. Like last year, the Spanish Super Cup final will be yet another Classic of one of the most beautiful and incredible rivalries in European football. After yesterday’s victory of the Blancos against Atletico Madrid, Xavi’s team responds present and Riyad beats a tough Osasuna not without difficulty.

A bubbly start to the game, with many chances on both sides. Christensen, Lewandowski and Ferran Torres are dangerous, but Sergio Herrera rejects. On the other hand, Areso and Budimir commit Inaki Pena several times. Subsequently, the paces go down, with Barcelona continuing to struggle against an excellent Osasuna, who defend himself in a big way and starts again with speed on the sands. In the second half, however, the Pamplona team no longer has to counter the blaugrana army that pushes with its head down and after several attempts it takes the lead with Lewandowski, well caught by Gundogan. After the goal, Xavi’s team dissolves and plays better and better, putting the opponents on the ropes who, however, with the good Budimir try to make themselves dangerous, without success. We are heading to the recovery where in the counterattack Joao Felix sowers panic, we need Yamal for the 2-0 that closes the match.

A 2-0 certainly correct for what has been seen on the field, but that confirms how much Barcelona is in a moment that is far from happy. In front of the blaugrana team continues to struggle to put it in, while behind it is often unstable and dancer. But in the end it is the result that counts in football and so Barça can confirm themselves champions in Saudi Arabia, like last year. The success of 2023 came in a similar period and brought the blaugrana team out of the crisis. Xavi hopes that history can be repeated on Sunday night as well.
