Fiorentina Defeats Atalanta In The Ligue

 Fiorentina 3-2 Atalanta

Goals: Bonaventura (35th), Martínez (45th) and Kouamé (76th) for the Florentines // Koopmeiners (20th), Lookman (53rd) for the Bergamasques

In an open and animated match, Fiorentina won against Atalanta (3-2). A success allowing the Florentines to get ahead of their evening opponent in the standings. But it is the Atalanta that begins the meeting beating the drum. First Bergamoque opportunity signed Zappacosta who sees his attempt rejected by Terracciano (12th). Gasperini’s men dominate and are logically rewarded. On a millimetered center, De Roon finds Koopmeiners who do not procrastinate and makes the Florentine nets tremble (0-1, 20th).

Asleep, the Viola finally decides to wake up after this goal conceded. Italiano’s men start playing, Atalanta is retreating more and more. And with a super volley control-recovery sequence, Bonaventura equalizes, on the first Florentine strike of the match (1-1, 35th). The locals do not stop in such a good way. Ten minutes later, it is Martínez’s turn to blow up the Artemio Franchi with a raging head, on a caramel deposited by Duncan (2-1, 45th). The Bergamo revolt will come from a man: Ademola Lookman. Very enterprising, the Nigerian plays with the opposing defense and relaunches his ons with a clear first-post strike(2-2, 53rd). The match is relaunched. Fiorentina regains control of the match and multiplies the offensives, but comes up against an excellent Carnesecchi, author of parades in front of González (60th) and Brekalo (73rd). Not really helped by his defense, the Bergamo doorman ends up cracking on a goal full of altruism signed Kouamé (3-2, 76th). This time, Fiorentina maintains its advantage and therefore gets its first success of the season at home.

Full of confidence before this trip to Genk in the Europa Conference League.
